half way there

Hi all,

haven't got much time but just thougth I'd let you all know that I'm still alive and kicking although the last few days have been a bit difficult and exhausting. The initial euphoria of being here and comparting life with such an interesting group had worn off a bit and I felt really homesick for a couple of days. But after I had a long conversation with Bastian yesterday I feel much better and much more energized.

Today we are being switched round in the rooms and will get a new room mate - they really are keeping us on our toes so that we don't ever get used to anything - good simulation of life in the field I guess.

Last night we watched a video on Colombia and although it was very hard and horrible it inspired me and I sincerely hope that I will be able to go and support the Colombian people in their struggle for peace.

OK, we're starting back in 15 minutes and I have to get going. I hope you are all well and all is good in your lives. I'm sending you lots of sunshine and positive energy from this amazing place.
